Cooper's room is done and ready for him! Rob and I are so pleased with how it turned out and we know he will be able to grow in this room!

Snow Storm

Rob and my mom have been telling me not to go into labor the last 3 days. We were hit with the biggest snow fall that Indy has seen in over 14 years. They said we got about 13 inches but trust me it was more like 15!

I have been stuck in the house for 2 days because the roads were so bad that it took FOREVER to get trucks to everyone. My car could not make it down our street till today which is 2 days after the snow fell. Thankfully Rob was able to get through it with his truck...lucky dog :)

Rob did get a good workout by cleaning off our driveway!

Needless to say Cooper listened to his dad and grandma and did not come during the storm! The roads are clear now so I told him it is safe to come ;)

Week 36 Visit

We are now starting our weekly visits! This is where the count down really begins. We went on Monday to the doctor and everything is going well. Cooper's heart rate was at 140 bpm and he is head down still which is very good. I am measuring right at 36 weeks so that is a plus. The doctor did not do an internal check because it is very painful he said and would really not tell us too much. He did demo how I should look when we call the hospital which gave both Rob and I a good laugh.

I have been feeling very good just ready for Cooper to be here. I am sleeping well and have adjusted to the multiple bathrroom visits. Sometimes I think I walk there in my sleep and then head right back to bed :)

Cooper's room is finished as we had our last baby shower up in South Bend on Sunday. Thanks to everyone who came out for that one. Cooper has such wonderful family and friends to come into the world to.

Week 34 Doctors Visit

My visits to the doctor are still very very short...only about 5 minutes. At this last visit Cooper was measuring right at 34 weeks and was head down. Everything with me looks great so nothing to worry about for 2 more weeks :)

I have started to have contractions which is also a fun thing. They are really dull right now and not consistent. But enough to let me know they are there :) The doctor told me this is normal and nothing to worry about Cooper still has some cooking to do!

We go to the doctor again on the 26th then we are on weekly checks till birth. Rob is still holding tight to the 4th of February though I think we might see a V-Day baby :) We will just have to wait and see when Cooper decides to come out.

Cooper's room is finally getting finished up. Rob and I...ok mainly Rob put together the crib and changing table this week. They look so good and I will post pictures later this week. We have our 2nd of 3 showers this Sunday at my Mom's house so I am sure we will have more to put into the room at that time!

Overall I still feel good...slowing down a bit. It takes me a little longer to get from A to B :) Looking forward to having this stage of Cooper over and move into the challenge of him being here!

The girls I work with gave me a wonderful shower on the 11th. The room was so cute and it was wonderful to have everyone there. Rob and I feel blessed that we received so many beautiful and thoughtful gifts and can't wait for Cooper to come and use all of them.
