Indy 500

Family Photo

Cooper just hanging

Loving being outside with everyone!

This was Cooper's first Indy 500 and we wanted to at least get him out before the race to be part of everything. Mom and Robert were so nice to come hang out before the race and take him home so Rob and I could go to the race.
Cooper loved being outside and everyone loved having him out there. He was just chilling and hanging out in his bouncy chair. Wish it was not so loud so we could have had him at the race. In a few years he will be ready :)

Cooper 3 months

Today Cooper turned 3 months old! Rob and I can't believe it has already been that long. He is doing great! He is now 13lb 6oz and a little over 24in! He is laughing all the time and always trying to talk. He LOVES sports. He will sit and watch them with his dad for hours. We are getting anywhere from 5-7 hours a night from him and he is so good about going back down in the morning so I can get that extra sleep. He does not usually nap during the day and his night time fussy period are far and few between. We are having so much fun with him and can't wait to see what the next month brings!

11 Weeks Old

Cooper turned 11 weeks old on Tuesday! He is now 12lb 12.6oz and if I had to guess right at 24inches! He is talking and really interacting with Rob and I. He is so alert and is always looking around to see what is going on around him. Every morning he watches the news with Dad and is now very good at making coffee. He likes to power nap with various 15-20minute naps all day long! He is eating about 5-6oz at each feeding and usually goes 5-7 hours through the night. We still have the 3am - 5am feeding but then he goes right back down till about 7 or 7:30!

We still get a little fussy around 7pm but it is much easier to calm him down! Can't believe he is going to be 3 months old next week!!

First back ride!

Rob is having so much fun with Cooper now that he can hold his head up. This is a couple of pictures of his first piggy back ride on dad! Cooper did not know what to think. But he did figure out how to hold on to Dad's hair for help!

Hanging outside with Mom and Dad

Rob and I love to sit outside at night and start a fire! We decided to bring Cooper out for the first time last week. He loved looking at the flame and being by Mom and Dad! In fact he fell asleep in Dad's arms. The next day we could still smell the smoke on him which made Rob very happy (one of Rob's favorite smells)
We can't believe how big he is getting and how much fun he is!

Cooper is really beginning to jab away. ALL day long he is talking to both Rob and I! Today he was just laughing and talking away and I was able to get him on video! Hope you enjoy hearing his cute little voice and seeing him smile and laugh!

LOVE YOU ALL!

Visit with Emma Tatom

This past weekend we took a trip to Bourbonnais, IL to visit some good friends. We stayed with Melanie and her parents. Emma is almost 2 and had a great time with Cooper. She kept calling him baby cougar and wanted to hug and kiss him!

We also got to see Sara B and her family and Sandy and her amazing daughter! We had a great time and Cooper did amazing on the ride there and back. It gave me hope that our move down to FL will not be so bad :)

Grandma J bringing him in to mom and dad

On April 26th Cooper had his dedication at church. We had all the Grandparents there and even the Great Grandmas were there. We also had some really important family and friends that attended! What a special day it was for Cooper and it was wonderful to see everyone. After church we all gathered for a cookout and an amazing cake that Aunt Kimmie made! Everyone had a great time and even stayed till about 8pm!

We hope Cooper will know how much he is loved not only by his friends and family but also by his church! We are so blessed!
