Just Some Cute Pictures

Cooper is becoming more and more interactive with Rob and I. He will look at you when you walk into the room and wants to know what is going on at ALL times. We are really enjoying this stage.

Can't keep a good man down

Have to hold on to my feet
Hi Mom!

Look at me!

Cooper WILL NOT stay on his back. He is now sleeping on his side and belly. He is moving around his crib so much at night that I had to take off his bumper with the fear he would lay up against it and not be able to breath. I will put him on his back the next thing I know Coop is on his belly and on the move. This kid can move from one side of our bed to the other in less then a minute. I will put him in the middle of his crib to sleep and get up in the morning and he is in a ball at the bottom of his bed. When we sit him in his bouncy chair, which is still his favorite, he has his legs up and is a bouncing fool. We have found out that we now have to strap him in or he will get out of the chair. He is all boy and has to stay moving. When you hold him he wants to stand and look around or be on the floor so he can get to his toys, yes Aunt Nita we do have toys for him...no need to call protective services.
He is getting so big everyday! We wish everyone could see how much he is changing! I will keep the pictures coming!

Jump Jump Jump

What the heck does this do?
I got this figured out mom!
Hi!

I got the hang of it!

Mmmmm good towel!
Thanks to my Mother-in-Law's advice I set up Cooper's Jump-a-Roo. By putting a towel in front of him he fits into it and his feet can bearly touch the ground! He LOVES it and will giggle when you bounce him up and down. I can't wait for him to figure out how everything works and see him bounce on his own.
Thanks MOM!

Look what I can do

Pull my binky out
Hold my bottle

Put my binky back in

Cooper has been working really hard at doing things for himself. Rob is always making him feed himself which takes FOREVER and makes a mess but Cooper is getting the hang of it.

He will not keep his binky in for very long anymore. He is always pulling it out and then putting it back in. This trick is also handy for ANYTHING he can get his hands on goes right into his mouth.

His bottle holding gets better by the day and now if the bottle falls he can lift it back up and put it into his mouth. I know hard to believe...I will get a video and post!

Spending Time Outside

Cooper gets very very still in the heat!
Nap time yet??

What is this all about?

Mom get me outta here its HOT

Whats going on over there??

We have not got Cooper outside too much because of the heat and the extreme sun that is down here. But the other day there was enough shade under the tree in the yard to get him out for a couple cute pictures.

He did not like the sun in his eyes and was looking all around at the entire yard taking it all in.

We hope to have some pictures from the beach really soon.

Rob's work

We arrived in Santa Rosa Beach, FL or SRB like the locals call it on Wednesday afternoon. By Wednesday at 9pm our house was off the truck. The majority of our stuff went into the garage because we only have about 1/2 of the room we did at our old house. We spent the rest of Thursday and most of Friday getting the house put together. By the time Rob had to be at work on Saturday the house was completely done. From our driveway you can see the lake that sits on one side of Destin and about 2 minutes from us is the Gulf. It has been so hot and the locals say it is totally different come September. Rob is enjoying his job but has a ton of work to do in order to get everything done he was sent down here to do. I got a job at Flemings and we have found a few really nice ladies to watch Cooper a few nights a week.

Rob feeding Cooper

On our way down to Destin we first stopped in Nashville for the night. A trip that should have took us only 4 hours took over 5 because of some construction. When we got to Nashville we found out that the CMT video awards would be going on the next day. So we got up early and headed downtown to see the sights.
We stopped at a great BBQ place for lunch and had an awesome meal. Cooper was a hit with everyone in line and he gave everyone a handshake. From there we walked down by where the awards would be taking place and got to see the red carpet. We went into the CMT history museum and saw a few sights and a man played and sang to Cooper. It was really fun. From there Cooper was getting a little fussy so we hit a few shops looking for cowboy boots then hit the road. From what we heard just in time because a really bad storm hit about 30 minutes after we got out of town.

Moving Day

Packing up the kitchen...this took the longest
Schelle Family saying goodbye

we will miss our house

Moving the big stuff out

Where are we going people

Moving day was crazy at the Schelle house. The movers came in Sunday May 14th and got 50% of the house done. Then they came back on Monday and finished up. They hit the road about 7:30pm on Monday.

Rob, Cooper, and I left about 6:30p to head down to Nashville TN.

It was so sad to see our house packed up and everything put away for the next year while we are down in Destin. But we know this is just a temporary move and we are looking forward to what is in store for us next.

Cooper 4 months 1 week

Today Cooper is 4 months and 1 week old. We were on our way to Destin last week when he turned 4 months old. We had a great trip and Cooper did awesome. It took him about 4 days to finally get adjusted to his new house and the time change but he is doing very well.
We went to the doctor last week and Cooper is now 15lb 6.5oz and 24in. He is rolling over like crazy and his new trick is holding his own bottle. He loves to hold it and he already knows how to hold his head back to get more milk...such a smart kid!!! (ND here we come)
Rob was able to take him to the beach yesterday and put him in the water for the first time. He also was able to experience sand in his pants for the first time :)
Coop is sleeping about 7-8 hours at night getting up around 4am for a quick feeding then back down till about 7:30 or 8. From there sometimes I get a few more hours and sometimes I don't !!! :) I am very happy with this as I am not feeling tired!
Cooper has made friends at the post office, the store, the bank, and Mitchell's already. It seems like everywhere we go people are wanting to talk to him. He is LOVING the attention and has began to jab away in the store till someone says something to him then he smiles and giggles at them....people are loving it! It has been a little bit too warm to really get him out but we are told it is suppose to cool down then we are going to check this place out.
Overall his has been wonderful. Today I was able to keep him out for about 5 hours without him having a melt down which was good considering it is 105 today.
I will post pictures soon of our trip down to Destin and pictures of the house! We love and miss everyone already but we seem to be in good hands down here :)

Just Cooper News

Go Cubs
All Smiles

Love my new overalls from Grandma J

Look how good I hold my head up now

Love to roll over look at me go!

Well here we are entering our 16th week with Cooper. He is rolling over like crazy and I cannot keep him in one place. I put him down on the floor and before I know it he is off of his blanket :)

He is now 14lb 10oz!! I am told he will slow down soon but who knows when :) I feel blessed that he is gaining without problems as we know so many people that are having to deal with that.
We are moving down to Destin, FL on the 15th which is just a week away. The house is getting packed up and is a total mess. I am so sad that Cooper will never remember his first room but we will have to recreate it down in FL :)

He is also loves to jab away at you! He gets really excited about music and is still in LOVE with basketball games! I would say he is happy about 90% of the time and only gets fussy now when he is tired or hungry! He is sleeping pretty well but we still get a few nights here and there when he just will not go down and stay down. But on average he is going 6-8 hours for us!
It blows my mind looking back at the last year! I can't imagine not having him here. Rob and I are so in love with him! Can't wait to see what the next month will bring!
