Going Under

Rob in the last few weeks has been working with Cooper going under water. Cooper is a pro at it now. He loves going under and coming back up. We will have him swimming in no time :)

Pool Fun

We decided to finally blow up the raft that Auntie Sara had got for Cooper when we moved down to Florida. He loved it and had a blast sitting in the water and hanging out with dad! He loved to chew on the flower and stick his hands in the water. He is becoming a little fish!

Story Time

We finally found a small library here in Destin. It was about 30 minutes away from where we are living so Cooper and I decided to take the trip over on Tuesday for story time. I was surprised at how many kids were there and the various age ranges. We met a few really nice people that have a play group that we will be attending.

Cooper loved story time. He giggled and squealed throughout the entire 45 minutes. He also really loved being around the other kids. He just wanted to crawl over to them and hug them or touch their hair.

We are going to try and make it a few times a month.

We have been in our new place now for about 2 weeks. The move went well. Rob was sick for about 90% of it but was a real trooper and got the job done. We are now proud renters of a 20x13 storage unit that is packed to the brim with all of our stuff. We only brought over what we really needed and put the rest away till the next move.

We are not sure how long we will be here they are talking as soon as January having us out to as late as May. My hope is January so we can be settled by the time the baby is here in April.

The house we are renting also was put on the market when we moved in but we were told it would not sell because the owner had it priced too high. 2 weeks later and 1 showing the house sold! We were totally bummed and thought we might have to move again but they are going to allow us to stay under the same terms till June if needed. What a relief!

We like the house a lot except for the 3 stories and the laundry being on the 1st floor and our rooms on the 3rd :) We are only about a 5 minute walk to the beach and we can see the ocean from our bedroom window! It is super quiet too because tourist season is over so most of the units are empty!

Enjoy the pictures :)

11 Weeks

We are 2 weeks away from being done with our first trimester. I have been doing great. NO sickness at all. With Cooper I has a few weeks were I just felt nauseous but I have not had that at all. There have been a few nights were I have been very very exhausted but again I have to take into account that this time around I have a baby to deal with :)

We go to the doctor next week for a check up and are about 9 weeks away from finding out the sex of our baby. We are playing around with the idea of keeping the name a secret this time but have not decided yet!

I began to show a little about 2 weeks ago. Rob and I were getting ready for bed and he looked over and said "Dang your already have a belly". Not the best way to say it to me but he is right my belly is beginning to show. Then at work I had a doctor ask if I was 16 weeks along? When I said no he said then this must be your second. So I guess this is to be expected. I still have not gained a pound so I am happy with that!

I feel like this time is moving a little faster. It might be beacause I am not totally focused on just this new baby I still have to take care of Cooper, plus our many moves have kept me busy :) I have still been able to work out a few times a week and really want to get back into 3-4 times if I can get our schedule in line :)

We will keep you posted as we move along with Baby Schelle #2 :)

Floating on my back

Swimming to dad!

Cooper just turned 7 months. Wow how the time has flown by. It seems like just yesterday we were waiting for him to show up! Now we can't remember what it was like before him! His newest thing is how comfortable he is in the water now. He never was frightened of the water but now he cannot wait to get in. Rob has been teaching him how to go under and he loves it! He can float now on his back with Rob holding his head and is starting to kick when pulled through the water.

He is also becoming more brave when it comes to pulling himself up and trying to walk. He can now make it half way around the coffee table before falling down. And we still have bumps on the head from our many falls, but we are getting better at our balance and falling less.

Overall we feel blessed that he is so happy and laid back!

Pulling Up

Cooper has become very good at pulling up on everything. From the coffee table to the couch to the entertainment center he is all over. Just in the last few days he has figured out how to pull himself up in bed. So when he gets up from his nap he pulls up and begins to cry for me to come and get him. I can't believe that he is really that big that he can do it but sure enough I was able to get a picture of it! Can't wait for the day he figures out how to climb out of the crib :)

Just Cooper

Cooper is almost 7 months and it amazes us how much he has changed in the last 7 months. He is now pulling himself up on EVERYTHING. If he can get a hold of it he is pulling himself up :) He has crawling down and is making it all over the house. If I go to the kitchen he is right behind me.

He is loving his "Your Baby Can Read" video. When I put it in he starts to laugh and gets really excited. He also loves his books and will spend 10 minutes just looking at them. He is now eating twice a day. We have breakfast, normally cereal, and then dinner. He is still is doing great with his naps and is sleeping through the night! He is a little easier in ways then harder in others. I can no longer leave him for too long or he will be into all sort of things that he should not :)

Beach Bum

Cooper is loving the beach! Rob and I take him about every other day or at least a few times a week. Once he sees the water he gets so excited and starts to wave his arms till Rob takes him in! We have just started to let him play with the sand because he has stopped trying to put it in his mouth :)
While we were at the beach the other day we were able to see an entire school of dolphins which blew us away. The water was so calm with very little waves and we looked up to see about 8 dolphins about 20 feet away from us. Cooper also loves the little fish that swim right up to us. Rob and I think they are terrible because they are always running into your feet and don't leave us alone but Cooper thinks they are funny.
It is amazing how much more comfortable he is now with the waves and the beach it seems like everytime we take him out he likes it more and more!
