30 weeks

Today we went for our 30 week check up. I am right at a 21lb weight gain which is still very good. My blood pressure was a little higher then it has been so she wants to watch that the next couple of visits. Normally I am right at 116/63 and today I was at 139/80. Though not high enough to worry yet it brings me back to my last couple of weeks with Cooper and all the issues we had with him. I am measuring at 32 weeks so we have a big girl on our hands. I am sure the doctor will also watch that. I am thinking this baby is going to come before we even move, but we will just have to wait and see.

My nerve pains have been less and less the last couple of weeks and though I am still very tired I feel that is just part of this process with having 2 little ones. Overall the doctor was not worried and said things looked good. I am to watch my salt intake for the remainder of the pregnancy to keep from bloating. We have 2 more weeks till our next visit :)

January in Florida

We made it back to Santa Rosa Beach on Monday afternoon and it was so nice out that we decided to take a walk down to the beach. It was beautiful out and Cooper loved hanging out at the beach. We are still amazed that we are able to walk to the beach in the middle of winter and not freeze to death.

Go Colts

Rob and I were finally able to use our tickets for the Colt's game this year by going to the playoff game on Sunday. Thanks to my Mom and Robert for watching Cooper all day we were able to get downtown for lunch with some friends and make it to the game. It was a great game and we had a blast. Now comes the countdown till the Superbowl.

Trip to Indy

We went home to Indiana for a very busy week full of visits and travel. We drove up late Sunday night and got to my mom's house around 9am. Rob rested most of Monday and we all were in bed early Monday night. Tuesday and Wednesday were filled with getting a few things done and visiting friends in Indianapolis. Thursday we took the drive up to South Bend where we got to visit with all of the grandparents and cousins. Rob and I got a date night thanks to Grandma Kathy and were able to meet up with some of his cousins for dinner then we headed out to a movie.
It was great to see everyone and Cooper had a blast hanging out with all sides of the family. Each night he crashed from exhaustion from going all day.
We left late Sunday night to come home and with an overnight (4 hour) stop at a motel we made it back home by lunch time on Monday. We are now back into our schedule and the normal activities of everyday life!

11 months

Such a happy boy
Watching dad get ready for work

I can fit through this hole!

So funny

Found my shadow

Today Cooper is 11 months old. I am getting excited for that 1st birthday that is right around the corner. This month didn't bring too many 1st but we did get better at the few things we were doing already. His walking is improving day to day and he can now fly up the stairs and then go back down. He is doing really well with his sign language and is now beginning to point at what he wants more of and also has a sign for when he is done (thanks to Rob). He loves to play with his football and trucks and will make sounds like cars when he plays. He is clapping and waving more which is always nice. We have moved on from "da-da" to "ma-ma", "la-la", "na-na", and "ba-ba". He is pointing at everything now and wants to know what it is. I think his finger is frozen out some days.

Today we had lunch at Mitchell's and all of the regulars where there. One of the regulars went out while we were there and brought back ice cream for us. So Cooper got his first taste of ice cream and a waffle cone. He loved the cone and ate the entire thing, everyone was amazed! It was very nice of them and Cooper really seemed to enjoy it! I think it wore him out because he went down for his afternoon nap without much of a fight at all.

Nap time has been hit or miss with him this last month. He is awesome with his am nap and usually goes down without a fight. It is the afternoon nap that is hot or cold. Some days he will go down without a fight but then there are days when I can't get him to take that nap to save my life. So we play it by ear from day to day! I hope once the new baby comes he will go back to having 2 naps a day, it will help me out!

Overall he is doing great! We have 2 bottom teeth and are waiting for the rest to come in. Though only having 2 teeth has not slowed him down one bit when it comes to food. He loves everything we give him. His favorites are yogurt, cheese, peas, and chicken. We just tried oranges this week and he seems to like them too.

Can't wait to see what this next month will bring!

Wheres Cooper??

Cooper is becoming more and more interactive and it amazes us what he can remember from day to day. His favorite game is hide and seek. He likes to play it with us at home but also thinks it is funny to play it while we are out at the store with strangers. He will hide behind me then look at people at start to laugh. His favorite place to play at home is in our room behind the curtains. He gets the biggest kick out of it and just laughs and laughs.

Bath Time Fun

Cooper LOVES the bath and get very excited when he hears the water begin to run in the tub! Our biggest challenge is keeping he down and still! It makes for a fun end of the night activity and also a spray down for whoever has the chance to give him a bath.

Just being Cooper

Thought everyone would enjoy some video of Cooper doing what he does best...being Cooper :) He is loving music now and loves to stay on the move as you will see from both of these videos!

28 Weeks

Today we are officially into our 28th week of pregnancy. We had a doctor visit this morning for my glucose screening. The doctor also checked me out and everything was looking great. My weight gain is right at 20lbs and the baby's heart rate is about 145. Blood pressure was 116/63 which I thought was good for having Cooper with me running around the office :) Rob came to join us for the blood draw which is what I was most worried about. He ended up having to take Cooper back to work with him because Cooper was not liking the long hour wait at the office and needed to be free. So I ended up doing the blood draw on my own and did very well. My glucose level was 117 which was well below the 135 that it needed to be.

We now begin our visit every 2 weeks for the next 4 visits then hit every week from that point on. Our last visit with Dr. Esses should be the Monday before we move in March. From there I should have only 2-3 more visits with the new doctor and this little one should be here.

Overall she is doing very well. She is super active, much more then Cooper was. And boy is she strong. She can wake me from a dead sleep with some of her kicks.

I got the flu this week and was sent over to Labor and Delivery to have the baby checked out and she kicked the entire time. The poor nurse had to keep coming in and adjusting the monitor because she was kicking it off and moving away from it. Baby girl ended up being just fine I just needed to get past the flu bug and feel better.
I am still working out about 2-3 times a week though it is getting much harder to do squats. I plan to continue till we move to Orlando!
We should have more to share in 2 weeks when we go back for our next visit.
