Just another week

We are getting adjusted in Ovideo FL and loving the area. There is so much to do and see! Cooper and Caddie have really adjusted well considering the time change that we had to go through. We had a few tough days with Cooper going down and staying down but it seems that he is back on schedule and doing well. Caddie is getting so big and strong. Here are just a few pictures from our last couple of days.

Videos

I have taken so many videos of Coop in the last couple of weeks and decided to just post them all for you to enjoy. He is so funny and sometimes the pictures just don't cut it!

Caddie Anne 1 Month

Caddie turned 1 month old today. Wow what a month it has been with the move and adjusting to a new house, a new town, and a new addition to our family. She is doing great and is fitting in great. She is still sleeping well at night and is only getting up about once a night for me. This is has been huge with running around with Cooper all day the last thing I want to do is be up all night with her. She is pretty chill but will let you know when she has had enough or it is time to eat. She is looking more and more like Cooper each day and she is not even phased by his consistent touching and kissing! She will not go to the doctor till she is 2 months old but by my guess, and by guess I mean weighing myself then her, she is about 10lbs. So she is right were Cooper was at 1 month. She is extremely strong and this week rolled over for us. At first I thought it was just luck but then she did it 6 more times. I was able to get it on video to prove I am not just a proud mama! So we will see what fun new things she will do this next month!

New Toys

Grandma J came for a visit this week and got Cooper a few new fun toys to play with. He got a tent and a pool. He is loving both and we can't get him out of either one for too long. The pool is great because he is really missing being by the ocean and was having a blast splashing around in it. His tent is so much fun because he loves to play peek-a-boo and that is yet another thing he can hide behind. Thanks Mom for the new memories!

Bath Fun

Caddie is loving her baths. She likes to look at herself in the mirror and loves the warm water. She is so alert and active and bath time is just another moment where she shows this.

Zoo Fun

Went to the zoo on Earth day with my mom and aunt. We had a great time though it was not as big as we had thought it was perfect for Cooper and he loved it. I was shocked how many of the animals he could see and point to. He was making sounds like the animals which was so cute and he jabbed the whole day. His favorite was the train ride we took at the end. We also put him on the merry-go-round but he was not too sure about that yet! It is nice to know the zoo is so close and we can head over for a day trip if we need to get out.

Caddie 4 weeks old

Caddie is now 4 weeks old! She is so alert and we can't believe how strong she is. For the most part her temperament is very chill unless she is hungry! We have been blessed with another really good sleeper and though she has had a few tough nights we are getting good night sleeps with only having about 1 feeding at 2 or 3 then not being woke again till about 6:30 or 7 when Cooper gets up. We have a pooper on our hands! She always has a full diaper and has multiple times pooped while we are changing her. She is starting to loose some of her thick hair and it has lightened up a bit from birth! Like her brother she is a great eater and has never had a problem breast feeding (knock on wood).
Overall we have adjusted to having her at home and she has quickly found her place in our family. It is hard to think about how it was before she was here.

Super Cooper - 14 months

loving the rain

We had our first rain in our new home the other day. Cooper thought it was the greatest thing ever to be able to go out on the back screened in porch and watch the rain. He was laughing so hard and running back and forth from the sliding door to the back door screaming with delight.

He has also just got into "helping" me sweep and mop by grabbing the broom and running around with it. Rob and I are so shocked how strong he is. He has also tried to carry around metal bars and buckets filled with stuff. Anything he can get his hands on he is trying to carry around.

He just turned 14 months and we cannot believe how "big" he is now. It was over night that he became such a little man. He is talking like crazy, about God knows what, running, dancing, and climbing on everything. He is so loving to his new "sissy" and wants to find her the moment he gets up in the morning. He is daddy's little helper and wants to be right next to him no matter what Rob is doing. He has become so funny this last month from his little dances to his laugh that just makes you want to laugh too.

Caddie Anne 3 Weeks Old

Caddie is turning 3 weeks old on Thursday. I feel like these weeks have flown by with everything we have going on. She has done awesome with the move and even adjusting to her big brother. She has been a great baby up to this point. She is sleeping 4-5 hours at night which has been a HUGE blessing. I feel rested and up for the challenge of running around with Cooper all day. She is very strong and can lift her head so high during tummy time. She loves to be held and cuddled and has even got use to Cooper and his "hugs".

Cooper is adjusting very well to her and for the most part leaves her alone and goes on his way. When he does notice her he will go over and rub her head or give her a kiss or hug. He has been very sweet with her and we get a kick out of watching him interact with her.

Easter Sunday

Happy Boy
So sleepy
loving the beach
"FOUR"
arms full :)
All ready for church

We had a great first Easter with Caddie. We all went to church where both kids had meltdowns and Rob and I had to tag team them! It was great like they both knew we were at church and had to act up :) From there they feel asleep on the way to lunch at Mitchell's. We were able to see all the regulars at lunch before we moved the next day. Later that afternoon we were able to get down to the beach for a few hours then visit with a few more people from Mitchell's. Though not a "traditional" Easter Sunday we had a great time as a family and it was a great ending to our time in Destin.

Thanks Grandma Kathy

Grandma Kathy came down the last week we were in Destin to help with the kids during the move. She was such a blessing letting us get things done and allowing Rob and I a few nights out to enjoy our last few nights in Destin.

She really helped by keeping Cooper busy and out of our hair while we finished last minute packing and I adjusted to Caddie's new schedule.

Thanks for all of your help...it was great having you there!

This week we have tried to get out as much as possible and do some fun things with Cooper while we are still in Destin, and while we have Grandma here to help.

We took Cooper to the beach, out to lunch, and to the park. He also went with us to Caddie's doctor's visit and got to say good-bye to everyone at the office.

Hanging at the beach with Mom
1 week old

This has been a busy week with our newest addition. She has been all over with mom and dad while we get ready for our big move on Monday. She has done great and is such a good baby! When we went to the doctor for her 1st week check up she was back at her birth weight and the doctor was so happy. We don't have to wake her to eat and she can sleep as long as she wants between feedings. At night, for the most part, she is going 4-6 hours between feedings. Daytime she goes 2-4. So far she has been pretty laid back and is not getting fussy when Coop wants to touch and rub her.

Because Rob's mom is here for the week we were able to get out and do a few things just the 2 of us, which was awesome. We got a game of golf in, dinner, and a movie. Plus we have been able to get things done for the move without having to worry about Cooper!

Cooper has been doing very well with her but is off of his schedule. He has been waking at 5am and fighting naps. So we will be working on that once we get settled in Orlando. I think there is just too much going on with Grandma being here and Rob being home from work all day, he is not wanting to miss out on anything. Overall though I don't think Caddie being around has phased him much.

We have had a good first week...now its time to move :)
