Pulling up

Caddie is finding more and more to pull up on.

My little helper

Cooper likes to "help" around the house. Now if I can just get him to do some dishes :)

Truck

Every Monday and Thursday we have trash pick-up. Cooper loves the truck and will sit and watch them and wave. Just had to get a video of it.

Snacks on the patio

Cooper is loving the cooler weather and is loving it even more that the back door is open all day. He thinks it is neat to go in and out bringing his toys back and forth. He also loves to have his snack outside.

Play date

Cooper and Caddie went to a play date last week at a new friend's house in Oviedo. It was a Halloween themed and Cooper was able to make a jack-o-lantern out of paper. I think they just enjoy having a new set of toys to play with and other kids to play with them. I like it because it gets us out of the house and some adult interaction.

Our little Caddie

Caddie is getting so big and strong. She is now pulling up on anything she can get to stand still. She is such a happy and laid back baby. She takes what her brother throws at her, sometimes literally, and just rolls with it. Rob and I are amazed how much she is changing daily and how brave she is. We also can see how much more she is getting away with. Cooper takes up so much of our time with keep him safe and out of trouble that we let her get away with things Cooper would have never been able to do. Cooper though is very helpful with letting us know when his sissy is doing something she should not be doing. We hear "NO Sissy, oh NO" all day long.

She is in love with her brother and dad. She will just sit and laugh at them playing and even tries to join in! We can't wait to get her up to the family so that they can also enjoy this time with her.

A napping 20 month old

With potty training comes an ability for our 20 month old to take off his diaper. Rob, who is not normally home for naps, put Cooper down for a nap in just a diaper and a tee shirt. (NOT A GOOD IDEA) Cooper got the diaper off before he fell asleep. As you can see he had enough sense to keep the diaper between his legs but had his butt airing out.

Playing together

Cooper and Caddie have had more floor time together with Caddie now a crawler. Cooper is not always sure about sharing his toys but they normally play very well together. I find myself saying "Cooper get off of your sister" way too much but he just loves to be next to her. She is all over the place and is in his way most of the day. She cannot leave him alone anymore then he leaves her alone. In the morning she gets her bottle and Cooper gets a sippy of milk. They like to sit by each other and watch the Wiggles. She will just laugh at Cooper dancing to the music! Cooper also likes to take care of his sister and make sure she is fed. He will bring her bottle over and try to feed her.

Cooper

With the weather getting nicer out it has been so wonderful to open up the patio and let Cooper move all of his toys out to there. He now want to do everything out there from playing to snack time. It is just funny to watch him outside playing thinking he is so grown-up with his own area to play. Even when the door is shut to the patio he is asking to go out and play!

Up she goes

Caddie in the last week or so has been working really hard on getting herself pulled up on things. She likes to spend time under the side table in the living room and has mastered climbing up and down on that. She is also pulling herself half up on the laundry basket. She loves to be held so that she can stand up and look around. She is a crawling pro and is all over the house now. She has figured out that hallways lead to other areas of the house and so it makes it harder to keep track of her :) She loves to chase after Cooper and always be into whatever he is doing.

Shhhh Sissy Sleeping

Cooper has been so protective of Caddie lately. When I put her down for a nap or for bed he will make sure her door is shut and then stand outside till he is 100% sure she is asleep. He will then look at me and put his finger up to his mouth and say "shhhhh sissy".

In fact he normally will hear her get up from a nap before I can hear her. It is amazing how in tune he is to her.

Caddie 6 Months

Our little Caddie just turned 6 months last week. She is doing so well and the doctor is 100% sure we will have an early walker, though Cooper walked at 9 months so it can't be much earlier.

She is still little and the doctor says this is due to the fact that she is so active and burning so many calories. She is an eating machine and can put down a 6oz bottle in no time flat. Even with all she is eating she was 13.5lbs which is only in the 5%. She is 24 3/4 inches long this is in the 10th to 25th %. So she might just be a little one for a while but I am sure she will catch up to Cooper soon.

She just loves to play with him and is always wanting to be on the floor with him and playing with his toys. She can make it across the room in no time and is beginning to sit up. She can get up half way on her own and if you sit her on the floor she will stay there and not fall over. So I am guessing a few more weeks and she will have that down too.

She is the sweetest baby and so loving. She will throw these smiles out at anyone who will pay any attention to her. She also watches everything so closely. If I am doing anything she is just sitting there and watching me, almost taking notes :) She knows her bottle and before you can make it she is reaching for it.

She is our little sleeper. She will get up in the morning and have a bottle then sometimes fall back asleep. She then has a nap between 9am and 10am which last for about 1-1.5 hours. She then goes down between noon and 1pm with Cooper and takes another hour nap. Her bedtime is 7:30pm and she never fights it. She is normally up about 6:30am but we have had earlier mornings. Anything before 5:30am though is just ignored and she goes back to sleep.
She is beginning to babble more and will let out these excited squeals that are so funny. Most mornings she wakes us up by talking not by crying. She will just lay in her bed and talk and talk till someone comes in to get her.

We have begun solids, but it is day to day if she is interested or not. Some days she is all about it and others she could care less. That is about how it was for Cooper too! She has tried all the "main" solids and has not had a problem with any of them so I am thankful for that.

She is just growing bigger and bigger daily! The first 6 months went by so fast so I am sure then next 6 will too.
