Cooper is in love with his chair and is very clear to Caddie that she is not to sit on it while he is around. That does not stop her from taking advantage while he is somewhere else. They have snacks by it and just like to rest in it. In fact daily Cooper tries to get out of nap time by saying he will "rest" in his chair. He refers to his chair as his "big chair" and he is super protective of it when other kids are around as well.

The Chair

Building a fort
One of the kid's favorite thing to do is building forts. Cooper would have a fort up everyday if I would let him. This last week we made a large one using his tent and they loved playing in it. We had to have snack time in it and I am sure if I waited long enough they would have taken a nap in it. Just took some cute pictures of them having a blast hanging out in their fort!
Enjoying a Popsicle
With summer in full force we have had to find ways of cooling off. One of the kids favorite thing to do is eat popsicles. I cut it in half and they are able to share. This is just a video of the two of them sharing...

Mother's Day 2011
This Mother's Day was very special. We got to celebrate Caddie being dedicated to the church. This is our commitment as parents to raise her in a Christian home. She did great and big brother Cooper took the show by being himself. (hope to have pictures and video soon)
From there the rest of the day went by fast. Rob and I both had to go into work for the onset of families having dinner. It was a very busy day and reminded me once again that I don't ever want to eat out on a holiday. When we got home that night Rob ordered a pizza and we enjoyed a bottle of wine and watched American Idol from the week before (A perfect end to my day).
I feel so blessed to have such loving and caring kids that are growing up to be such amazing individuals. I have an incredible husband that makes each and every day special and does not need just one day to make me feel like a great mom and wife. Every day is a blessing and I am overflowing with pride at our family.

Such a big boy!
Cooper is becoming our little man. He is always a big help when it comes to Caddie. He will help to find her shoes and he is always the first to let me know when she is doing something wrong. He loves to sing, dance, and any craft that I can think of. We are still working on the sharing aspect of things and he is very protective of his toys!
He can sing the entire ABC song and knows about 5 more little songs that we sing all the time. He knows all of his colors and shapes and he is the first to point out trucks, cars, and a bus when we are driving. He knows that the phone is how we call grandma and grandpa and that we have to fly to go see them.
He is super particular about his bed and how it needs to be set up in order for him to go to bed and after they get up he makes sure that all sound machines are off. He points out when things break and will tell you what he wants to eat for snack. He loves his shows we let him watch in the morning and at night and will make sure he is able to watch them.
Overall he is such a loving and upbeat little boy that just gets so much joy out of life. Everything is so exciting and he is always saying "wow mama look". It is great to see the world through his eyes!
