Ok so in attempt to catch up on my blogging, I am so behind, here is a little about our little Bugs 1st haircut.
Now let me say that both Rob and I have attempted to cut her bangs a few times and we never had got it right. So this time I made the decision to take her and have them done professionally.
Well $40 later I think I will stick to doing them myself :). But regardless she got a haircut and she did great :).

Our own little garden
Moving to an apartment put a slight damper on my plans for an herb garden this year. But I made due with what we have around and old coffee containers worked out great.
So the kids and I spent an afternoon planting and getting our containers ready. And believe it or not they are growing. :)

Learning about bugs
We spent a day learning about bugs. We did some letter tracing while we sang the ants go marching. We made caterpillars out of egg cartons. We made butterflies out of tissue paper and read the Hungry Caterpillar to talk about how the caterpillar turns into a butterfly. From there we made mini cupcakes from scratch and iced them in different colors to make our own caterpillars to eat.
We had a fun day and I am still hearing about how caterpillars turn to butterflies.

Mother's Day 2012
This year for Mother's Day I decided to pick up a shift at work. I know this may not seem like a relaxing day but I made really good money and came home to a clean house and dinner so it was a great day.
I had a wonderful dinner then we went out for ice cream.
The kids gave me cards and plenty of hugs and kisses. We made bookmarks for the grandma's with our own little hands.
Overall it was a great day and just a reminder of how lucky I am.

Checking out our new town
I am not one to stay still for too long so it was no shock that we had to check out the area right away!
We found a new Mexican restaurant because I move fell on Cinco De Mayo and we had to go out for that :).
I found our library and we were able to attend a special Mother's Day tea story time.
We found our YMCA, played at the park in our complex, went swimming most days, found the mall, and all our weekly shopping needs.
We are so excited that everything is minutes from our new home.

Moving Day!
We have been totally blessed by having movers for most of our moves and we were so thankful for them again this move. Going from the house to a much smaller apartment that only has a one car garage was going to take nothing less but a professional to make work.
It was a little sad to pull away from the house where so much growing up had gone on with the kids. But it was also exciting to know we were moving towards a much better future for them.
We will miss that house on White Heron but I am hopeful for better things in our future.

Our last trip to Seaworld
Another testament to how awesome my friends are is shown in our last visit to Sea World. We all got up super early to see the new exhibit before the park was even open.
It was a perfect morning and we were gone before it even got too hot and the park got too full! It was a perfect ending to our time in Orlando.

A bittersweet goodbye
I had been blessed with the greatest support system in Orlando! I met a group of women through Meetup and they all became such a wonderful part of my life! These were the women that were part of my daily life! My workout buddies, my lunch date, a partner on my Target run, and playmates for the kids! There were many says that they were my saving grace!
So when we planned my Birthday dinner little did we know it would also be my going away dinner! It was an awesome night of visiting with my good friends and looking forward to our return to Orlando!!!
Thanks to all of you for being great friends!!! Xoxoxo

Our last visit to the Science Center
Last summer we spent so much time at the Science Center and we wanted to get one last visit in before our move down south.
So our play group all joined and we had a blast checking out the new Bob the Builder exhibit. The kids, like always, had a blast and I had a great time hanging with my friends.
