In the past couple of weeks Cooper's nap schedule has been hit or miss. Some days he will give us a great nap and other days we are lucky if we can keep him in his room for an hour of "rest time". Caddie has also been bucking the system by only taking 45min naps. This is making for a very long day and by 7:30 I am ready for them to be in bed. It would not be so bad except it has been such a struggle to get them down that I am worn out and by the time I sit to have a few minutes they are up again. Cooper has also become the little negotiator when it comes time for naps. He would like to think sitting in his chair and watching t.v. should count as his nap time. Little does he know I look forward to this time to get things done and have a moment to myself.
I am praying this is just a phase and I should have a few more years of good nap times a head of me. I was still taking naps well into 4 years of age. Only time will tell in this saga.
