Popcorn

I have no idea where the kids picked this up at....

Popcorn is a favorite snack at the Schelle home. Cooper wakes up asking for it. Both kids go nuts when I put it into the microwave. They begin to jump around like they are the popcorn. Really words do not even begin to say how cute and funny it is...so here is the video :)

A very quick trip to Destin, FL

So sad to be leaving our beach....again

He loves this place

A little green from the storms but still so pretty

A call from a good friend a week ago sent in motion a spontaneous trip back to Destin, FL. JJ & Courtney were getting married and wanted us to be there for the wedding. No was not an option so after much moving around of schedules we were off for a whirl wind trip to the Panhandle. So Saturday morning we were on the road by 9am and on our way. After a long 6 hour drive we made it to Destin. We had a quick lunch at Mitchell's then it was off to the beach before the wedding at 6pm.

The wedding was beautiful and so personal. A friend of the family let them use his house that was the perfect place to hold this private affair. Tables surrounded the pool out side and the back yard was transformed into a perfect intimate ceremony. We had a wonderful spread of food that was a true southern feast. BBQ pulled Pork was a highlight as well as the homemade 3 tier cake! Perfect was the only words to describe the evening. After a few hours of socializing we all decided to head out for a few hours in Baytown. A great bar with dueling pianos was the perfect end to the day with some great friends.

Rob and I awoke early Sunday morning and headed out to breakfast followed by a final walk along the white sugar beaches of Destin. A farewell drive down 30-A as we headed out of town and back for the 6 hour trip to Orlando.

Hitting a few bad storms along the way home stalled us just a bit, but we were able to make it home by dinner and the good night routine for the kids.

Though a very quick visit it was awesome to see our friends that mean so much to us and watch the beginning of a couples life together. JJ & Courtney we all wish you the best and look forward to watching your family grow.

Fore!!!!

Rob made the Schelle Country Club in our front yard over the weekend. They dug a hole, put up a flag, and mowed the grass! Now they all have a great time hitting balls all over the yard and practicing their swings.

A Visit to Missouri

This past weekend was my sister's baby shower. She is having twins so we wanted to surprise her by coming to the shower. It went off without a hitch. Caddie and I got on a plane in Orlando and flew to St. Louis where we were picked up by my Mom then made the drive to my sister's house. When we got there my Mom dropped us off around the corner and we walked right up to their door and knocked. Both my sister and brother-in-law were shocked to see us. It was a great visit and hopefully helpful to them with trying to get ready for the girls to arrive.

"Helping" Mom Cook!

Finding new ways to have fun...

With the heat index finally hitting over 100 each day it has become impossible to get the kids out in the afternoon. But that leaves us inside the house or having to find an indoor play area. The other day I was cleaning up and found some dry erase markers. So I let Cooper go to town on the back door. He loved it and boy did it clean up fast. I am having to clean that back door daily of finger prints so this gave us a good reason to mess it up :)

Blast Off

Getting ready for the final countdown

Coloring the outside of our rockets

Caddie is going for the crinkle look!

Today was the final mission for all shuttles taking off from Kennedy Space Center. It was a sad day for many people down here due to the amount of work that is supplied by NASA and for the work that all these people did to advance the space program.

We used today to have some fun and to enjoy the last shuttle launch. So we made rockets and watched the launch on tv. It was a little too cloudy to watch the launch outside so we had to just stay close to the t.v.

Daytona Visit

All tuckered out after a long couple of days!
All the cousins hanging out!

This last week we were able to get over to Daytona and visit with Rob's cousin and her family. We had a blast with all the kids and they were staying at a great resort with plenty to do for everyone. We were able to bring our babysitter, Justina, along to help out and give us a night out.

The kids all loved playing with each other and hanging out at the beach. It was a great couple of days away from the house and we were so blessed to have some great weather! Thanks Jeff and Billy Jo for a great couple of days!

Bye Bye Daddy

Cooper and Caddie love to go wave bye-bye to Rob when he leaves each morning. They run over to the front window and will watch him get into his car and pull out. They wave and say "bye-bye Daddy".
