Caddie is now 17 months and ALL OVER. We have to watch her every second or she is climbing on top of something or getting into something she should not. She is beginning to say a few words and I can tell she is understanding more and more. I can now tell her to wait and she will, most of the time. She is saying mama, dada, buba, please, more, ice, eyes, baby, and we get a ton of grunting and pointing. We are working on our body parts and she can do a few when she wants. She is still taking one good long nap and sleeping all night. She loves food and will never turn anything away. She is our strong willed child who loves to see how far she can go or what we will let her get away with. She will do the same thing over and over to see your reaction and will sit in timeout for the fun of it. She loves to be held and cuddled and will not get up in the morning unless everyone is in her room! (Bad habit on our part) She loves to try and keep up with Cooper so most of the time she is repeating what he does or a sound he makes. She loves to color now and is obsessed with shoes and purses. She is starting to get into music and loves to dance more and more each day. I can't wait to see the changes these next few months as we get closer to 2!!!

Cooper goes to school
Cooper began his year of preschool today. It was a very short day, only an hour, but he had a great time. He will be going on Thursday and Friday from 9am to 1pm. This will be great for Caddie and I to have some one on one time. This will also be great for him to have some structure to his day. They have the whole day planned out for them and the classes are super small so it will be good for him to make some really good friends. He loves his backpack and his lunch sack. The school is at our church so he is very comfortable with the area and the teachers. It should turn out to be a great year for him!

She LOVES shoes
I am asked all the time "what is Caddie into?". Well I would have to say SHOES!!! It does not matter if they are hers, mine, Cooper's, or Rob's she will put them on and walk around. We went to Target the other day and I picked her up a pair of boots for this winter and we were not even out of the store and she had them on her feet.
The other day I heard her clicking around the house in my heels and she just looked so cute I had to get a picture of her. I am in big trouble when she gets older :)
Loving eachother
Most days I sit back and wonder why my children don't find completely different areas of the house to play with totally different toys. But then I see moments like this and I am reminded how much they love each other. Cooper is helping Caddie with her sippy cup. His little voice "here Caddie, let me help you" as he lifts her cup up to her mouth. I pray that they will grow up loving each other and continue to have a great relationship!

Dancing Queen
Caddie has been loving music and dancing more in the last couple of months. This is just a quick video of her dancing (no I did not speed it up, that is how fast she dances).
Enjoy :)
Making Cupcakes
Today is our babysitter's birthday so Cooper and I decided to make her some cupcakes to celebrate tomorrow when she is waching the kids. Cooper did great following the directions and listening to me when I told him to wait! It was a successful baking experience! Now to get the kitchen cleaned up....BOOOOOO!
School is getting ready to begin
Today was officially the start of Cooper beginning school. We had a meet and greet at his school and was able to see his room, meet his teachers, and also all of his classmates. We had a nice little visit and will learn more next Thursday when we will get all the details of the days he will be at school. He will be going every Thursday and Friday from 9am to 1pm. They will encourage him to use the potty and focus on listening and manners. It should be a great year from him and all of his new friends.

Mr. Richard at the Library
Mr. Richard is a local artist that sings and records little kid songs. And the kids LOVE him. Our playgroup had him come to the library and do a private concert for the kids. Cooper and Caddie for the most part were more interested in the toys that were in the room, but I did get a few pictures of the busting a move. It was a nice morning out with the kids.
