Christmas Eve

I can say without a doubt that Christmas Eve is my favorite day if the year. I love the excitement of the next day, love the traditions, and I love a candle light service.

For the last 5 years Rob, I, or both of us have had to work or something have kept us from celebrating it together.

Finally this year neither of us had to work and we would be able to celebrate it all.

We went to church and had an amazing service. We came home and the kids were able to open their last surprise from Marshmallow. Marshmallow gave them an ornament of the nativity scene to put on our tree to remember the reason we celebrate, new pajama's to wear to bed, a new Christmas book, and a certificate from Santa for being good.

The kids then made up the plate of cookies for Santa and places out the "reindeer" food to make sure everyone was taken care of.

After that we were hanging out when we heard the sounds of bells and Santa's laugh coming from outside.

We all ran to our beds and got snuggled in tight in hopes Santa would not pass our house.

After they were both down Rob and I were able to enjoy some time with some friends that stopped by and prepare all the toys for Christmas morning.
